Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Dentrix management software
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update electronic medical records accurately
Manage patient flow by coordinating with dental staff to ensure timely appointments
Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and assist with insurance claims




Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while adhering to confidentiality standards and office protocols

Skills
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical/dental office role
Robust knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and insurance providers
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and scheduling software
Prior experience with office administration tasks including billing, insurance processing, and appointment management
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times
Comfortable working in a quick-paced setting with excellent organizational skills
