Become an AquaFit Fitness Instructor with the YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford, where you’ll lead interactive classes and foster community through wellness. Located at the Laurier Brantford YMCA, this position requires a passionate individual to oversee AquaFit classes, ensuring a high standard of service and participant satisfaction.

You’ll engage with members, implement program initiatives, and maintain a secure environment.

Your role can include various shifts and contributes directly to the health of the community. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and instruct fun and effective AquaFit sessions
Develop and maintain positive relationships with YMCA members




Ensure equipment is set up and cleaned post-usage
Create targeted fitness programming as needed
Enforce safety policies during all classes Requirements:
Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certifications
Relevant Group Fitness Certifications such as AquaFit
Teaching experience in group fitness is preferred
Post-secondary education in health or fitness-related field
