Join the Indigenous Youth and Family Liaison role to support Indigenous students’ educational journeys. This position emphasizes collaboration and advocacy within schools. Reporting to the Director of Family Development and Food Security, this position is pivotal in addressing the educational needs of Indigenous youth in elementary and middle schools.

Your expertise in Indigenous cultures will guide students and their families, fostering connections with community resources. This role includes formal and informal advocacy, ensuring holistic support tailored to each student's educational goals. Key Responsibilities:
Liaise between home and school for Indigenous families
Support Indigenous culture integration into school programs




Document and manage case plans accurately
Participate in training and staff meetings
Promote wellness in families through community engagement Requirements:
Bachelor’s in education, Social Work, or Counseling
Minimum 2 years experience in Indigenous communities
Clean Class 5 Driver’s license required
First Aid certification an asset
