West Neighbourhood House is seeking a Facilities and Properties Manager to lead operations in Toronto. This position involves comprehensive facilities management, emergency protocols, and health/safety compliance. As an onsite manager, you will supervise maintenance operations, support diverse staff, and oversee capital projects.

With robust project management skills, this role also requires a knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems to uphold standards. Your leadership will provide creative solutions for facilities-related challenges. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safety and functionality of facilities and properties
Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans
Oversee the performance of contractors and compliance
Conduct training for staff on safety and emergency procedures
Manage commercial tenant and partner relationships Requirements:
Certificate in Facilities Management or related field
3+ years’ experience in facilities management
1+ year in a leadership role, preferably unionized
Robust interpersonal and negotiation skills
