Southeast College is looking for a motivated full time Instructor for the Powerline Technician program in Weyburn. This role guides apprentices through industry-standard training while leveraging your practical knowledge.

You will be responsible for teaching Levels 1 through 4 of the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship, covering a comprehensive range of topics including rigging, line work, and safety procedures. Maintain up-to-date evaluation records and engage in curriculum development to align with industry needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Teach all levels of Powerline Technician training • Instruct on safety procedures and technical theory • Assess student performance and maintain accurate records • Provide expertise in curriculum development efforts • Demonstrate training techniques relevant to the trade

Requirements: • Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson in Powerline • 5 to 10 years relevant field experience • Preference for prior adult instruction experience • Skills in Microsoft Office Suite are essential • Ability to demonstrate physical aspects of training
