Our drivers are the face of our company at customer sites, and we’re looking for reliable and detail-oriented team members to join our daytime operations.

Position Overview

We are currently hiring a DZ Driver to perform local pick-up and delivery (P&D;) within Owen Sound and surrounding areas. This role requires attention to detail, time-sensitive deliveries, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities
Complete daily P&D; runs in a timely and professional manner
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) using ELD/Samsara system
Secure and handle freight safely, including LTL shipments
Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, updates, or issues
Ensure paperwork accuracy (BOLs, manifests, DG where applicable)
Adhere to all company safety policies and federal regulations
Represent the company positively with customers at all delivery/pick-up points

Skills
Valid DZ licence with clean driver’s abstract
Minimum 3 year commercial driving experience
Strong knowledge of Ontario roadways and local area




Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with freight as required
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Experience with ELDs and load securement an asset
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.

Schedule & Compensation
Daytime shift ( 7:30 AM start, Monday–Friday)
Full-time permanent position
Competitive hourly wage.
