Job Title: UX Designer - Junior
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Client: Public Sector
Pay Rate: $50 - $60/hr [CAD]
Must Have Skills:
Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications.
ability to define and lead UX projects and design workshops and alignment sessions with stakeholders and business users.
Knowledge of accessibility testing.
Ability to work with Ontario Design system.
Knowledge of digital service standard.
Experience with Figma, Canvas and similar tools.
Experience facilitating the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching,



prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products and optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a outstanding user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required.
Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.
Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes
