The Opportunity
RVS invites you to apply for a part-time (0.5 FTE) Learning Support teachingposition starting immediately at Muriel Clayton Middle School.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years classroom teacher experience

AND





1-year educational background or experience in one of the following areas:

Inclusive Education

Special Education

Disability Studies

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pre-employment Requirements

Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.

New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.

External applicantsmust provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.

The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
