Become a Relief Full time Outreach Worker with Fraser Health's Overdose Outreach Team in Surrey, B.C. Focus on delivering critical support to individuals facing challenges with substance use.

In this role, you will be a vital component of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to client and family-centered care. Responsibilities include monitoring clients, assisting them with accessing services, and providing emotional support. Your advocacy helps enhance clients' self-management and access to opioid agonist therapy, vital for their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor clients and assess their living conditions
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
• Link clients to community services and support
• Assist with accessing benefits related to substance use
• Administer medications and handle emergency situations

Requirements:
• Must have Substance Use Certificate or similar credentials
• One year of relevant work experience
• Valid BC driver's license and vehicle
• Current CPR certification required
• Skills in crisis intervention and communication
