Located in Nepean, ON, Cross and Associates Manufacturing, a high‑precision machine shop serving aerospace, robotics, defense, and advanced technology sectors, is looking to expand our team by hiring an Afternoon/Evening CNC Machine Operator to support steady production growth.
Details:
Permanent full time (40 hours/week)
Monday to Thursday
Afternoon/Evening shift (1:30 pm to 12:30 am) - there will be 2 to 4 weeks of initial training that will take place during the day shift
$23-$30 per hour (based on experience)
Job Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machining centres following established specifications, to produce high precision parts
Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, gauges)
Keep work areas clean, organized, and protected
Job Requirements:
High-school diploma
Proven experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high‑quality work
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Reliability — showing up on time and ready to work
Familiarity with basic measuring tools
