Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for night shifts to support our maintenance team in equipment servicing and troubleshooting. Help maintain our commitment to quality production and safety.
As an Electrician at Maple Leaf Foods, you’ll be responsible for the effective maintenance of production equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role requires a qualified Journeyman Ticker or Red Seal Electrician Certification and solid hands-on skills in electrical systems and troubleshooting. Your contributions will have a significant impact on our operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems
• Maintain and optimize variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Perform preventative maintenance per established schedules
• Maintain accurate records in computer maintenance systems
• Communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams
Requirements:
• Journeyman or Red Seal Electrician Certification
• Required own hand tools; power tools provided
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Availability for night shifts and overtime as needed
• Physical capability to manage heavy equipment
