Unity Health Toronto is seeking a Registered Nurse for its post-anesthesia care unit to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care following surgical procedures.

What you'll do

Provide nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.

Assess patients in the post-anesthesia care unit.

Monitor vital signs and clinical status.

Administer medications and treatments.

Recognize and respond to postoperative complications.

Communicate patient status to physicians and healthcare teams.

Document assessments and interventions.

Provide patient and family education.

Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards.





Support safe transfer and discharge of patients.

What we're looking for

Current Registered Nurse registration in Ontario.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Current BLS certification.

Acute-care or perioperative nursing experience preferred.

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
