Job Summary

Urban Ridge Homes is Winnipeg’s leading infill home builder, specializing in high-quality single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes. We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Construction Runner & Labourer to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in construction and learning the industry from the ground up.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment.
Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople to complete tasks accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met.
Help with the installation of structures, frameworks, and fixtures as directed.
Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals within deadlines.

Requirements
Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physical tasks,



including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is a plus.
Solid attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Willingness to learn current skills and take on various tasks as needed.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and maintain a positive attitude on the job site.
