EIPS is recruiting a part-time (0.553 FTE) Music Teacher at Woodbridge Farms Elementary. This part-time position involves teaching music to Grades 1-6 for the rest of the 2026-27 school year. The schedule consists of full days every Tuesday and Friday, plus Wednesday mornings. A music background and experience coordinating musical performances are considered assets.

Woodbridge Farms Elementary serves approximately 315 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 21 teaching staff and 11 support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.

Woodbridge Farms Elementary aims to inspire both students and staff to create a learning community of support, engagement and respect.

Commencing October 6, 2026 to June 29, 2027

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education degree

Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Effective organization and classroom management skills

Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged

Excellent verbal and written skills

Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice

Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and qualified goals

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
