Job title: Project Manager, SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation

Salary: Approximately $120/hour

Our client: A global automotive manufacturing organization based in the North York region.

Intro paragraph: Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation. This role will lead key project activities across Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and implementation partners within a complex manufacturing workplace.

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

Lead project planning, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Manage Finance transformation workstreams from requirements through implementation.

Coordinate Finance, IT, SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.

Lead workshops and drive requirements, decisions, and issue resolution.

Oversee testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.

Provide project updates, reporting, and escalation to senior leadership.

Ensure alignment between SAP capabilities, Finance requirements, and business objectives.





Qualifications and pre-requisites:

5+ years of Project Management experience within ERP, Finance transformation, or large-scale business transformation.

Proven SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or transformation experience.

Strong understanding of Finance processes and ERP environments.

Experience working with Finance, IT, Operations, and senior stakeholders.

Manufacturing or automotive experience strongly preferred.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to manage complex projects, competing priorities, and external implementation partners.

PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.

Additional information or perks:

Approximately $120/hour based on experience.

Initial 6-month contract with potential to extend.

Hybrid role based in North York.

Onsite 1-4 days per week depending on project requirements, with increased onsite presence during key project phases.

Immediate or short-term availability preferred.
