About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated Legal Officer focused on Compliance to join their team in Kimberley . This role is critical in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across its operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, monitoring regulatory changes, and providing guidance to business units to maintain the highest standards of corporate integrity in the Northern Cape region.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage the company's compliance program .
Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations and assess their impact.
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.




Requirements LLB degree or equivalent qualification in Law or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in legal compliance or a related role.
Solid understanding of South African regulatory frameworks (e.g., POPIA, FICA).
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
