Join PLEA Community Services as a Temporary Full time Youth Care Worker in Maple Ridge, BC. Assist youth facing challenges in a structured, supportive environment.

This position involves helping youth with moderate to severe behavioral challenges achieve their goals in a staffed resource home. Your responsibilities include fostering emotional and physical well-being, implementing effective routines, and assisting with daily activities. The role is designed for a 40-hour workweek, from Tuesday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support youth's well-being
• Facilitate open communication with caregivers
• Implement individualized life skills training
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention
• Document progress and incidents regularly

Requirements:
• Relevant diploma in human/social services
• At least six months of related experience
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 or 7N B.C. Driver's License
• Basic First Aid certification or readiness to obtain
