A teaching assistant (TA) is a graduate student (or a student at the bachelor's level if no graduate student is available) who is responsible for assisting a professor in a course. The TA performs tasks such as:

Marking assignments or exams

Supervising a final examination in person

Required experience and qualifications

Candidate must be fluent in English, the language of instruction.

Number of Working Hours
120 hours

Hourly Wage (ref. RHR-204)
Undergraduate $22,44/ hour + 4% of holiday pay

Master $26,93/ hour + 4% of holiday pay

Doctorate $35,90/ hour + 4% of holiday pay
