Impact students’ education as a Casual Tutor in Toronto’s Homeward Bound Program. Teach essential skills in Reading, Literacy, and Math in a structured, supportive setting.

This position requires onsite tutoring for students in grades 1 to 8 and entails personalized instruction based on individual learning goals. Engage with students twice a week, maintain academic records, hold parent meetings, and facilitate a motivating learning atmosphere to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions
• Set academic goals through intake assessments
• Track and report on student progress regularly
• Organize tutoring events and maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth

Requirements:
• University degree in Education or similar discipline
• Minimum one year of tutoring experience
• Experience with Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
