Familiarity with the BC building code and the ability to solve problems on the job are significant. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and foreman to ensure quality and safety in every project. Key Responsibilities:
Create and repair structures using a variety of materials
Measure layouts and mark materials for projects
Cut and shape materials with tools effectively
Verify the accuracy of your work regularly
Mentor apprentices and ensure their training Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry
Robust understanding of BC building codes
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship
Valid driver's license necessary
