Dr. George Johnson School
5.75hr/day Temporary Educational Assistant9am-3:15pm
(30 minute lunch)
Ability, Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
Para Educator Certificate desired
Relevant training and experience
Course work in behavior management
Demonstrable computer/technology skills
Responsibilities May Include
Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally
Assisting with communication and speech-language activities
Supporting individualized student programming
Assisting with supervision and daily routinesAssisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing,
assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.
Supporting student safety, personal care, and mobility needs as required
Salary: According to the Collective Agreement
