If you are passionate about your work, want to make the community a better place, and develop your leadership skills this is the place for you!Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the daily supervision of childrenResponsible for the awareness of all centers policies, health regulations, safety, field trip, Provincial day care regulationsResponsible for awareness of all pertinent information concerning each childResponsible for creating an environment within the center the guides the children in their play and create opportunities for the children to make suitable decisions and choicesResponsible for awareness of all housekeeping duties and ensuring that all work areas remain clean and organizedResponsible for maintaining a current knowledge of techniques and programs used in the field of early childhood this will require attendance at various workshops and seminarsResponsible to stay current with research and emerging best practices in health and safety as recommended by licensing and health authoritiesResponsible to know which children if any use emergency medications, where the medications are stored, and how to administer them if necessaryResponsible for participating in routine safety checks of the building,
