SGI CANADA is hiring for a Personal Auto Underwriter, a key role based in Toronto. You'll review and process applications for non-standard auto insurance while assessing risks involved and negotiating terms with brokers. Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate simple current and renewal insurance applications
• Process policy revisions, cancellations, and quotes
• Calculate premiums with applicable discounts and rates




• Foster relationships and educate brokers on underwriting criteria
• Mentor junior underwriting staff in procedures

Requirements:
• Two-year diploma in a relevant field
• 1-2 years underwriting experience preferred
