Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

Strong Java 8+ development for server-side applications and REST APIs

Hands-on CI-CD pipeline development with Continuous Delivery, TDD, and automated testing

5+ years with SQL , relational databases, and database schema design

5+ years of experience in software development

Nice to Have

5-6 years working in unix environments

Responsibilities

Work with team members and business stakeholders to understand business requirements before design and development

Implement technical solutions based on agreed technical design using continuous integration and automated testing

Test implemented solutions before User Acceptance Testing

Assist with deployment of components to development and test environmentsDeliver software from analysis through production release and support

Release code to production and raise production change requests

Participate in intra-day and overnight production support
