Join Agnico Eagle as a Geological Exploration Coordinator at the Hope Bay Project and play a pivotal role in mining exploration. Address geological challenges while planning and supervising essential programs.
As part of the Exploration team, you’ll report to the General Supervisor and be responsible for managing drill hole planning, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and engaging in effective collaboration with internal and external teams. Your contribution will be vital in advancing our exploration aims and maintaining the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and monitor ongoing drill programs
• Contribute to geological modeling and interpretation
• Facilitate compliance with QA/QC protocols
• Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure secure operations through daily site visits
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of exploration experience
• Familiarity with geological software and database tools
• Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities
