Position Background:
The Service Technician is integral to Ketek’s operations and isessential in assuring client retention through the provision of hands-oncustomer service. The career growth of a Service Technician is dependant uponpersonal interest, inclinations, and abilities.
SHIFT ROTATION: 16 days on 5 days off

Responsibilities and Duties:

Establishand promote excellent relationships through transparent and accuratecommunication

Takeinstruction from Project manager and/or act to ensure tasks are completedin a protected manner

Install,troubleshoot, maintain, demobilize Ketek equipment for the benefit of theclient

Use,clean, and maintain the different tools required at the worksite

Whennot in the field, will work in the shop and complete duties as requiredunder the direction of a Shop Foreman

Followinstruction from Dispatch

Takeresponsibility for all related site functions

Performroutine onsite housekeeping duties

Operatevehicles in a safe manner

Fillrequired paperwork

Successfullycomplete safety training as required on an ongoing basis

Observeall safety procedures and use proper Personal Protective Equipment

Ensurethat all of Ketek policies and Occupational Health and Safety regulationsare followed

Beconsiderate of the needs of our community and the environment

Performother related duties as required

Working Conditions:

Fieldenvironment (85%) and shop environment (15%)

Bewilling to and able work in remote locations for extended periods of time

Thework is both physically and mentally demanding

Mustwork outside in all different weather conditions including extreme coldand extreme heat

Mabye exposed to unpleasant sights and smells

Mayat times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must takenecessary precautions to protect eyes, nose, and skin from irritation andinfection

Expectedto do a reasonable amount of lifting, carrying, climbing, kneeling, andbalancing, therefore a certain amount of strength, dexterity, andalertness is required

Requiredto work closely with other workers, clients, and/or third-partycontractors

Maybe required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces

Pre-accessdrug and alcohol testing may be required

Qualifications and Skills:

Trade tickets are required; Millwright tickets are preferredfor the position.

Fluentin the English language (reading, written, spoken)

Minimum3 years’ oilfield and/or construction experience

ValidClass 5 with Clean Driver's Abstract

MinimumClass 5 with 3 years of experience

HighSchool Diploma and/or a Journeyman Trade ticket

Abilityto deal with the public in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner

Abilityto handle multiple tasks and frequent demanding deadlines

Abilityto handle changing schedules and priorities, with high-levelprioritization skills

Strongwork ethic and organizational planning skills with attention to detail

Abilityto work independently or as part of a team

Effectiveverbal and listening communication skills
