About the Opportunity

Review and audit lease-related charges, including operating costs, property taxes, and percentage-based rent, ensuring calculations align with contractual terms;

Enter and maintain approved billing and calculation methodologies within the organization’s ERP system;

Maintain tenant billing information and methodologies to ensure accuracy and completeness;

Support the annual budgeting process through the preparation, review, and analysis of estimated tenant charges;

Prepare and issue year-end reconciliation adjustments and invoices;

Maintain schedules using monthly sales information and prepare applicable billing calculations;

Partner with Property Management to investigate and resolve tenant inquiries related to billable and recoverable charges;

Calculate applicable property tax adjustments and prepare related tenant billings;

Complete ad hoc analysis and support various projects and initiatives as required.

About You

University degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline;

5+ years of experience in recovery accounting, property accounting,



or a similar environment;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;

Experience with Yardi or a similar property management/accounting system is an asset;

Ability to read, interpret, and apply lease terms and contractual requirements.

Salary Range
$64,000 - $88,000/year
