This role is designed for registered Occupational Therapists in Ontario. Your responsibilities will include assessing client needs, delivering therapy sessions, and employing treatment strategies that focus on mental health recovery. Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques to facilitate clients’ journeys back to work and improve their daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess psychosocial barriers impacting client RTW
• Execute weekly one-on-one therapy following MHR program protocols
• Leverage behavioral activation with CBT and MI techniques
• Communicate regularly with Homewood Health clinical staff
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active registration with the relevant qualified body
• At least 1 year of psychotherapy experience in mental health
• Specialized training in CBT and MI methodologies
• Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational abilities
