Join Halifax Water as a Building Maintenance Worker, focused on facility upkeep and equipment support. This role includes janitorial responsibilities and grounds maintenance duties. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, your primary duties involve cleaning operations and maintaining the grounds of the water supply plant. You will also assist Operators in various maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with environmental management protocols.

Physical demands are a key aspect of this role, requiring strength and commitment. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out cleaning duties for plant facilities
Maintain lawns, walkways, and grounds
Support loading/unloading of supplies and chemicals
Assist with general maintenance and equipment labor
Adhere to safety standards defined by the EMS Requirements:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
Relevant experience in building maintenance preferred
Certifications in confined space and hazardous materials handling
First Aid and WHMIS certification desired
Capability to handle physically demanding tasks Support Halifax Water in maintaining essential facilities and secure equipment operations.
