We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day AP and AR activities, maintaining accurate accounting records, processing payments, following up on customer accounts, and assisting with account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
Process and record supplier invoices and bills
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
Prepare vendor payments, cheques, EFTs, and payment reports
Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records
Generate customer invoices and statements
Record and apply customer payments
Follow up with customers regarding outstanding and overdue invoices
Maintain Accounts Receivable aging reports
Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations
Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
Process credit notes and account adjustments
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end accounting and reporting
Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required

Qualifications
Previous experience in




Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience with accounting software such as
QuickBooks
or similar software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow up professionally on outstanding customer accounts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of AP/AR or bookkeeping experience
Experience working in a distribution, wholesale, automotive, trucking, or parts-related business is an
asset
Accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or business education is an asset
