Remote/Hybrid: Candidates can be considered anywhere in the country of work, but if someone is within 80 KM of a hub, they are required to be onsite 3 days a week.
What You'll Do Develop andimplementsimulation components that model vehicle ECUs, actuators, chassis, and tires.
Develop scalable simulation architectures to supporta large number ofhost vehicle models.
Collaborate with Vehicle dynamics and actuation technical experts across GM.
Design, run, and interpret vehicle model validation studies.
Refactor and optimize code for long term maintainability and performance improvements
Generate documentation for designdocuments, port-mortems, and release notes
Your Skills and Abilities Abachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area, and at least3years of experiencein the vehicle modeling domain.
Expertiseinvehicle system modeling and simulation (powertrain, suspension, steering, brakes, chassis controls, etc.)
Solid programming skills inPython andC/C++
Experience withMatlab/Simulink, System ID studies, model validation, and data analysis.
Compensation The salary range for this role is $ 115,000 to $ 164,600. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
