Canada Post is hiring for two permanent Delivery Agents to help ensure that all Canadians receive their mail on time. Your day will consist of sorting deliveries, operating a postal vehicle, and bringing items directly to customers. This role is pivotal to the daily operations of Canada Post and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Start daily tasks by sorting mail in the depot
• Load and maneuver postal vehicles for deliveries
• Deliver mail and parcels to customers efficiently
• Unload mail returned to the depot after delivery
• Ensure customer interactions are positive and helpful
Requirements:
• Valid Class5 or ClassG driver’s license with a clean record
• Physically able to regularly lift 22.7kg (50lb)
• Aptitude for delivering in various weather
• Customer service experience is desirable
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards
