In this role at G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre, you will undertake essential maintenance tasks for the ice arenas and related facilities. Your duties will include custodial work, managing ice operations, and ensuring all areas meet safety standards. Your attention to detail and cooperative spirit will serve to enrich community recreation spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cleanliness and upkeep of ice arenas
• Operate ice-making and resurfacing equipment efficiently
• Clean facilities, including washrooms and public areas
• Perform repairs and regular maintenance on equipment
• Keep accurate logs of equipment performance

Requirements:
• Educational background of Grade 11 or higher
• Refrigeration Operator certification is a must
• Relevant experience of three to six months
• WHMIS certification valid within one year
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence Class 5
