Our client who is a well established General Contractor are seeking to add an Estimator to join their team. They have a strong pipeline of repeat business across North America. The company delivers large-scale high profile projects and are known for their work in the ICI sector.

They have built long-standing relationships with major repeat clients and they are delivering complex projects across the commercial, retail, light industrial and residential sectors. Their teams are collaborative, driven, and take pride in executing high-quality builds in challenging environments.

About The Opportunity
This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and competitive bids for various construction projects. Your role will invovlve analyzing project plans, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare detailed cost estimates, collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

About The Position

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and ensure compliance with all specifications.

Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing for future bidding processes.

Review project plans and specifications to understand project requirements and scope.





Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and information as needed.

Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.

Analyze project costs and budget forecasts, providing value engineering options where applicable.

Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating processes.

Attend project meetings and provide updates on estimating progress and timelines.

The Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience of Estimating in the Construction industry particularly in ICI & Residential projects

Relevant 3rdlevel qualification.

Proficient in Estimating software and Microsfot Office.

Compensation

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 DOE
