Seeking a Health Care Aide at Carewest's Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre. This Part Time role supports adults 18-64 with chronic conditions through skilled, trauma-informed care.

In this position, you will report to the Director of Care as a member of an interprofessional team. The Health Care Aide is responsible for observing, monitoring, and assisting clients, including administering medications and communicating changes in health status. Experience with mental health and neurological conditions is essential for effectively addressing the needs of younger adults.

Key Responsibilities:
• Observe and report on client’s health changes
• Accurately deliver prescribed medications
• Provide care for diverse client needs
• Adhere to Carewest's skilled standards
• Assist with client mobility and positioning tasks

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduation from recognized Health Care Aide program
• Current registration with CLHA
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Training in trauma-informed care is strongly preferred
