Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer with a focus on Supply Chain Optimization to join their operations team serving Kimberley. This role is crucial for analyzing, redesigning, and improving logistical processes, inventory management, and overall supply chain efficiency. You will utilize data analytics and engineering principles to identify cost-saving opportunities, enhance delivery performance, and ensure robust supply chain operations. The position involves a hybrid work model, allowing for collaborative engagement at the office and focused analytical work remotely, contributing to seamless operations and strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities Analyze existing supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics, reduce lead times, and minimize supply chain costs.
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Implement and manage supply chain performance metrics and reporting systems.




Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient flow of goods and information.
Design and improve warehouse layouts and material flow for optimal efficiency.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specialization in supply chain and logistics.
Proven experience with supply chain optimization techniques and inventory management systems.
Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and simulation software.
Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
