We are currently seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. If you’re a skilled tradesperson with experience in fire alarm systems and commercial electrical work, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
As a Journeyman Electrician at Four Alarm, your role will include:

Installing, modifying, inspecting, and verifying fire alarm and intercom systems

Running conduit systems, pulling wire, and terminating electrical connections

Reading and interpreting engineered drawings, schematics, and specifications

Performing electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting (training provided as needed)

Completing and submitting electronic documentation and reports

Providing operational training to clients and end-users





Ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction on every job

Complying with safety regulations, codes, and best practices

Qualifications and Requirements

Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certification (AAIT) or equivalent (Red Seal preferred)

Minimum 1 year of journeyman-level experience (flexible based on capability)

Proficient with electrical meters, hand tools, and conduit bending

Comfortable working independently or collaboratively on job sites

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs, climbing ladders, and maneuvering tools

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

Experience with fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment is an asset

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic digital platforms

Compensation and Perks

Hourly Wage: $40.00 - $47.00 (commensurate with experience)

Vacation: Two (2) weeks paid or 10% vacation pay bi-weekly
