Our client is currently looking to add a logistics and shipping clerk for their ever growing global company.. If you have a background in administration or a passion for working with a close team then this is the position for you. They may have various tasks that will be given as part of this role.

Responsibilities

Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines..

Ability to use gauges and other measuring equipment to ensure work quality.

Ability to learn products including technical details.

Basic computer skills, including MS Office.

Main tasks for this position:

Set up inventory stock received from subsidiaries of and national suppliers.

Use computer for inventory/shipping/receiving in SAP and Swisslog systems.

Verify conformity of incoming parts using shop measurement tools and documentation.

Packing, shipping/receiving and general cleaning.

Placing Shipping labels on packaging

Qualifications

Bilingual English and French (spoken and written)

English-speaking internal and external [clients/partners/employees] located outside Quebec on a [daily/regular] basis

1-2 years preferred in an administrative/related field

Experience in inventory or logistics

Someone who wants to work for a close team and culture
