In the Health Educator - Staff role, you will report to the Manager and facilitate a variety of health promotion activities. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering programs to children, seniors, and prenatal groups while advancing the community’s understanding of oral health. Effective communication and relationship-building skills will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate community health education needs
• Deliver engaging oral health presentations and programs
• Provide consultation on dental health and treatment planning




• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for program success
• Stay informed on current trends in oral health research

Requirements:
• Ongoing registration with appropriate licensing body
• Graduation from an accredited Dental Therapy or Dental Hygiene program
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great interpersonal relations with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and within a team
