Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Banking Associate-Legal(Power of Attorney). This position offers an excellent opportunity to support legal and client servicing functions within a highly regulated setting. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and managing complex legal documents related to Power of Attorney requests in a hybrid work setting.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $29.56/hr

gfResponsibilities

Support clients by reviewing and processing legal documents related to Power of Attorney requests

Ensure submitted documents meet legal requirements and internal policies

Interact with branch partners and internal teams to follow up on incomplete or non-compliant submissions

Maintain high accuracy while managing volumes and meeting service level expectations

Interpret complex legal documents within a regulated framework

Stay current on provincial legislation and internal policies affecting document review

Utilize Microsoft 365 tools to draft, review, and communicate with stakeholders

Engage with AI technology for process automation and efficiency

Desired Skill-Set

Fully bilingual in English and French, written and verbal

2-4 years of banking or retail banking experience





Prior experience in SLA-based roles

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Comfortable using AI tools

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Excellent decision-making abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multitask effectively and manage high volumes

Strong collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Legal experience working with government or legal documents

Familiarity with Power of Attorney (POA) files

Knowledge of provincial legislation related to legal documents
