In this full time role, you will collaborate with management and health committees to ensure a robust safety culture. Your responsibilities will include participating in incident investigations, guiding healthcare-specific safety practices, and engaging in proactive injury prevention initiatives to build a safer setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in incident calls and investigations as a lead
Assist sites by interpreting H&S; legislation accurately
Engage with VCH sites for effective safety program support
Liaise with external stakeholders for H&S; activities
Provide assessments on risk management practices

Requirements:
Passionate about health and safety regulations
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a explicit history
Health and safety diploma or certification required
Knowledge in incident investigation is an asset
Excellent time management and organizational skills
