Spartan Staffing Solutions has partnered with a leader in Material Handling Equipment rental and sales company.

Together we are in search of a Dock and Door Technician for their team in Moncton NB You will be responsible for the overall operational integrity and condition of dock doors with the following responsibilities: Receive service call requests from the national call center department Explain problems, solutions consequences, conditions, and cost of repairs to customers Repair dock products at customers facility including: doors, seals, bumpers, restraints Test specific areas, parts, and components to ensure safety and optimal operation of equipment Fill out work orders outlining issue, summary of work performed, and actions required Fulfill service duties at customer sites on docks and overhead doors Meet SLA Agreement standards of service Successfully service equipment and encourage repeat business through exceptional customer service As a technician, you are the front line contact forcustomers, so you are comfortable with client contact as well as being technical savvy.





High school completion or equivalent education proficiency and/or minimum of 1 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent related experience.

Automotive Certification (310S) or Heavy Duty Technician Certification (421A) an asset.

Welding required.

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices, knowledge of the use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.

Able to interpret and implement technical procedures.

Solid knowledge of general Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Customer service oriented.

Effective analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced and changing environment.

Possess a valid drivers license.

Compensation/Advantages: Salary Negotiable.
