Adecco is currently hiring an experienced Electronics Repair Technician for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing environment in Ottawa, ON.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in PCB repair, electronic assembly, soldering, rework, electronics manufacturing, quality inspection, and IPC standards.

As an Electronics Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing rework, repair, modification, inspection, and troubleshooting of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies.

Solder and repair electronic assemblies in accordance with IPC-7711/7721 and J-STD-001 standards.

Inspect completed rework to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.

Operate repair and rework equipment independently and safely.

Identify quality concerns, documentation discrepancies, and process issues, and communicate findings to Manufacturing and Process Engineering teams.

Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to PCB assembly defects and rework.

Apply Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Document Change Orders (DCOs) as required.





Maintain accurate records and documentation using company systems such as SFDC and Agile.

Follow 5S practices and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, electronics repair, or rework environments.

Hands-on experience soldering and repairing electronic assemblies.

Robust knowledge of: IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Experience reading and following manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and quality procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.

Experience using manufacturing tracking and documentation systems is considered an asset.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
