The Mental Health Educator will be instrumental in developing evidence-based workshops and coordinating community outreach programs that promote mental well-being. You'll collaborate with various organizations to fulfill the vision of a suicide-safer setting in Windsor and Essex County.

This temporary position is funded by Employment Ontario, designed to enhance resilience during challenging times.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and develop trauma-informed workshops
Facilitate internal and external mental health training
Conduct grief education seminars and support groups
Prepare participation resource materials
Liaise with community agencies for outreach efforts

Requirements:
Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Health Sciences
Experience in a mental health-focused role
Solid public speaking capabilities
Advanced bilingual skills preferred
Valid Ontario Driver's License and insurance
