DHL Express is looking for a Casual Courier Driver in Calgary, AB. This is an on-call position requiring availability Monday to Friday, 9:30–18:00.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities: Drive a van and 5-ton truck to complete assigned deliveries and pickups
Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs throughout the shift
Scan and process freight as per agreed procedures and Security Policies
Accurately sort and process inbound material by deadlines
Move freight within the warehouse area as required
Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands
Perform accurate reporting
Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area
Participate in maintaining a safe and cooperative work environment
Interact with customers over the phone and at the service point
Complete other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent




Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions
Positive knowledge of MS Office, comfortable Excel user
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Excellent ability to multi-task
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
Able to handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments
Able to stand for long periods of time
Minimum one year warehouse/customer service experience (asset)
Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset)
Wage: $24.96/hour, increasing as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
