Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage design and development projects for engine exhaust emission control products from initial concept to production phase

Produce detailed design drawings and specifications for both manufactured and purchased components

Establish quality benchmarks, investigate product failures, and analyze specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards

Maintain and enhance the company’s design database (PDM)

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with production capabilities

Utilize product specifications and performance requirements to innovate designs that align with existing manufacturing capabilities

Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, guiding them in their professional development

Qualifications and Experience:

BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering required

At least 5 years of experience in a design or manufacturing environment

Proficient in sheet metal design and fabrication

Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software, with a preference for SolidWorks





Strong grasp of modern engineering principles to enhance manufacturing process efficiency

Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills

Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented with strong multitasking abilities

Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Demonstrable mechanical expertise with hands-on experience

Preferred Additional Competencies:

Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools like Converge

Background in industries such as forklift, construction equipment, gen-set, mining, diesel/LPG engines, automotive, exhaust systems, or manufacturing

Knowledge of internal combustion engine operation, exhaust emission control production, tool and die design, and manufacturing automation
