Job Title: AI Governance Lead - Data Governance & CDGC

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AI Governance Lead to lead and deliver enterprise Data & AI Governance initiatives, with a robust focus on data governance, AI readiness, metadata management, data quality, and Informatica CDGC onboarding and governance.

The successful candidate will work closely with business, technology, risk, privacy, compliance, and other stakeholders to establish governance frameworks, support governance platform adoption, and drive enterprise-wide governance practices.

This role requires a combination of Data Governance expertise, AI Governance knowledge, technical understanding, and strong project/program management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
AI & Data Governance

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI and Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.

Establish governance processes covering data ownership, stewardship, data quality, metadata, lineage, classification, access, privacy, and responsible AI.

Define governance requirements to support AI/ML and analytics use cases.

Establish appropriate controls for AI lifecycle management, transparency, accountability, human oversight, risk management, and auditability.

Partner with business stakeholders to define data and AI governance priorities, roadmaps, and delivery plans.

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on Data Governance, AI Governance, and data-related initiatives.

Support the onboarding and adoption of Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) within enterprise data governance initiatives.

Work with business and technical teams to define requirements for metadata, business glossary, data domains, data lineage, data quality, classifications, policies, and stewardship.





Support the onboarding and organization of relevant data assets and governance content within Informatica CDGC.

Help establish governance processes and operating procedures to drive effective use and adoption of CDGC.

Collaborate with technical teams on CDGC-related integrations, data discovery, lineage, cataloguing, and governance requirements.

Hands-on Informatica CDGC implementation or migration experience is considered a nice-to-have.

Project & Program Management

Own project/program planning, execution, governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery milestones.

Develop project roadmaps, timelines, deliverables, resource plans, and status reporting.

Coordinate cross-functional teams across Data, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, and Business functions.

Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to senior leadership.

Translate complex business and governance requirements into actionable delivery plans.

Establish KPIs and measurable outcomes to track governance and program effectiveness.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on Data Governance, AI Governance, and related initiatives.

Facilitate governance councils, working groups, steering committees, and stakeholder sessions.

Drive alignment across business and technology teams on data ownership, standards, governance policies, and AI requirements.

Present program status, risks, recommendations,



and roadmaps to stakeholders.

Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Strategy, or related areas.

Strong experience leading enterprise Data Governance programs.

Proven Project/Program Management experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Experience with Informatica CDGC is preferred.

Experience working with AI/ML governance, responsible AI, or AI readiness initiatives.

Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and modern cloud/lakehouse environments.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Experience working in regulated industries is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Informatica CDGC onboarding, configuration, implementation, or migration.

PMP or equivalent Project Management certification.

Professional Scrum Master / Agile certification.

Data Governance or Data Management certification such as CBIP.

AI/Data Science-related certification or education.
