Substitute Teacher (Multiple Positions Available)

Overview:
Christian Heritage School is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to support student learning and contributing to our school community on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher and facilitate learning activities according to school policies and procedures.

Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.

Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.

Provide instruction, support, and supervision to students in various grade levels and subject areas.

Collaborate with school staff and administrators to support the continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure a smooth transition during the teacher's absence.





Qualifications:

Manitoba Teaching Certificate or eligibility for a Substitute Teaching Permit is required.

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred.

Experience working with students in an educational setting is an asset.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in different grade levels and subject areas.
