Duz Cho Construction is looking for an Environmental Monitor to enhance civil construction safety practices throughout British Columbia. This role emphasizes compliance with environmental standards while respecting local Indigenous cultures.

As an Environmental Monitor, you will work directly with project management and a Qualified Environmental Qualified (QEP) to ensure environmental protocols are maintained on site. This role involves monitoring construction activities, performing inspections, and documenting compliance with environmental management plans. A strong understanding of Indigenous knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with construction crews are crucial to succeed in this field-focused position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor environmental compliance during construction stages




• Conduct routine inspections and sampling of work areas

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in environmental science
• Experience with environmental monitoring practices

• Ability to work independently in remote locations
• Valid driver's license required
