Full-time Fort McMurray, AB Weekdays with some evenings and weekends
Walk with children and young people through land-based learning, after-school programming and the steady routines that help them grow up feeling protected and connected.
What you'll do Responsibilities Plan and run after-school, land-based and cultural activities for children and youth
Provide one-to-one mentorship, homework support and help through hard days
Work with families, schools and child welfare to keep supports joined up
Recognize and respond to signs of distress, and document concerns accurately
What you bring Required Diploma in child and youth care, social work, education or equivalent experience
Experience working with Indigenous children, youth and families
Current First Aid/CPR, or willingness to train
Valid driver's licence
Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
